My swap partner was the lovely Theresa Fosdick of Thoughtful Notions. Theresa makes really lovely jewelry, while you are at her blog be sure to check out her Etsy shop. She made my earring with really cool techniques she learned from Richard Salley at Art is You. I am honored to be the recipient of such lovely little works of art. I have worn these often since I have received them. Without further ado, here is what she sent (drum roll...)
Aren't these yummy?! I LOVE them. The silvery parts are made from stamped solder.
Aren't the details just amazing?
This is as close as I come to modeling, lol.
The earrings I sent Theresa were mostly components that I made myself. Copper discs that I hammered and enameled, enameled copper tube beads and handmade earwires. I added some Swarovski crystals for a little bling. Head on over to her blog to see them, the link is above.
Be sure to hop on over to everyone's blogs to see all the great things that were created. Here's the list so get hoppin :)

Beautifully and thoughtfully designed, I would be reaching for these often, too. With their whisper of Fall color, they would go with everything.
ReplyDeleteTheresa did a lovely job, and they do go with most everything I wear.
DeleteGreat earrings! They are something I would totally wear. Thank you for participating!
ReplyDeleteThanks for putting this all together for us Diana. I know you do quite a bit of the mismatch thing, but for me it made me stretch my creativity.
DeleteSuch a beautiful pair of earrings! I've just been to "visit" the pair you made - wow, incredible!
ReplyDeleteThank you Wendy, and thanks for following :)
DeleteWow Ali, Theresa's earrings are really nice! I love the texture of the shell stamp on the metal! The mix pallette of the silver with copper and green - LOVE!!
ReplyDeleteAnd the earrings you made for her, red and enamelled - GORGEOUS!! So far everyone's work has been so beautiful. What a great swap, right?!
Thank you Shelly! It was an awesome swap, still hopping and commenting in between packing for my trip tomorrow.
DeleteThose are beautiful... and they dangle so alluringly.
ReplyDeleteP.S. I hate CAPTCHA. It is torturing me. If you never see this comment it is because it devoured my soul.
Dang it, I didn't think I had that darn CAPTHCA thing, lol. Now I have to go figure out how to turn it off. Thanks for the heads up :)
DeleteThose look fabulous on you! Love the pop of green with them!
ReplyDeleteThanks, I LOVE wearing them, Theresa did a great job :)
DeleteGorgeous! As are the ones you made her!
ReplyDeleteSorry for being late to the party, hectic week at home. These earrings are gorgeous & the length is perfect!
ReplyDeleteHi Ali,
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to say how great it was to be partnered with you (and to have a new blog-buddy) and I just LOVE the earrings you sent me. I am having to work and stay away from home right now so I just got a chance to check out the HOP.
Thank you for all your kind complements,
Theresa
You were a great partner also, and it really is fun having another blog buddy. So glad you liked the earrings :)
